My Trusty Glue Gun

Gifted Dremel Glue Gun

The Dremel GlueGun 930 allow you to glue on both conventional and heat sensitive materials thanks to the dual temperature settings which are combined with high and low temperature sticks. The included coloured and transparent glue sticks provide creative experience for making original crafts.
From light gluing jobs to ornament sculpting, precise decorating of jars to mould making and embossing. Work on various tasks without spilling the glue on the project thanks to its drip-controlled precision tip.

I can confirm that the above statement taken from Dremel’s description is accurate, I have always purchased the cheaper glue guns and they have never been up to much, I didn’t realise just how bad they actually were until I used this gun.

I never read the instructions, just inserted the glue stick and plugged it in. I sat for 10 minutes thinking that the gun was broken. With all my other glue guns the glue would normally start spewing out the nozzle when it got to the right temperature so I waited and waited for the glue to start to drip or show a little sign that it was good to go! NOTHING!

I gently pressed the trigger and the glue came out evenly and smoothly not stringy and not a blob insight.

I did not succeed in gluing my flower tight enough but I was happy with the results and it has been the nicest paper flower I have done.
My earring had been previously fixed using expensive superglue

Fixed in an instant.

I abandoned all flowers and set out to find my earring that needed fixing, needless to say they were in among the craft supplies so it took me over half an hour to find them, all the while the gun was left on and facing in a downward position. Not a trace of glue on the nozzle at all.

This Gun comes with different coloured glue sticks, low temp sticks as well as high temp sticks.

Comparing this gun to anything I have used in the past is NIGHT and DAY. I am only sorry I never purchased this gun years ago.

I am delighted with The Dremel 930 It is perfect for crafting and also perfect for DIY use, I even managed to fix a broken drum snare using this gun!!!!

I will apologise now in advance as I will be ranting and raving about this gun in my future blogs, It really is a game changer for me!

The only negative I have is that the cable could have a been a little longer. Not to worry though since using this I have looked into other updated models and can see that Dremel now have a cordless version of this.....I have it added to the wish list.

Flower Power 🥴 Cricut

Well, where do I start? Flowers, rolled flowers, layered flowers and felt flowers any flowers for that matter I hate them.😭 We see so many of the beautiful flowers  postsed on Facebook and some have even completed an entire wall full of the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen and it’s all done with cardstock! So after seeing lots of posts saying “not bad for my first attempt”  and the pictures looking like they have plucked it straight out Beachgrove garden I thought I can do that! I logged into Cricut Design Space and as I am subscribed to Cricut Acsess I selected the purple image bellow I was only messing around to see if I could actually produce anything that resembles a flower and duplicated only 4 petals to test it out. I made each petal a little smaller then cut. I used cheap card bought from Poundland and cut it on the cardboard + setting. I was really surprised by the results and I was now on mission to cut more. I tried the rolled flowers befo...

Thoughts on the Foil Quill

My thoughts on the Foil Quill Using Cricut I have had the quill now for a few months. I am not an avid crafter so I have not used it to create a card Ive only tested it on various materials. I like to try out things that not alot of people are making. I just love experimenting! Foiling on Gloss Vinyl  I decided to foil on some gloss vinyl and purchased this design as I thought it was super CUTE!!! click here to purchase design I tried to tape the foil down best that I could but as per usual it came loose whilst foiling :(   I am using Heat Reactive Foil/Hot Stamping Foil. Please do not get confused with Toner Reactive Foils as this WILL NOT WORK.  I used the Pink Pen tool for the thinnest line. Remember to let it heat up for about 5 minutes before using. I really am impressed with the outcome. SUPER CUTE!!! So next was to try it on Matt Vinyl, Using the same method as above. Again it turned out great!!! So now I was f...
